Applying for a Place at All Saints Benhilton

It is certain that one of the most important decisions you will make in your child's education will be choosing a primary school, and we are very happy that you are considering All Saints Benhilton, as we think it is rather special! Please come and visit us prior to making an application; you can make an appointment with the headteacher by phoning the school office. All Saints Benhilton is always oversubscribed, so we would ask you to read the admissions policy carefully, before applying.

There are two routes of entry into the school – Foundation and Open. Both routes require you to complete the Common Application Form. The London Borough of Sutton now operates an on-line admissions service, so regardless of where you live, you can access the Common Application Form on-line at www.sutton.gov.uk/education/admissions. If you are applying for a Foundation place, the school will provide you with the necessary supplementary form.

For the Nursery, parents are advised to register their child as soon as s/he reaches the age of two. Children are admitted to the Nursery according to our admission policy either in September or in January, depending on their date of birth. There is no appeal against non-admittance to Nursery.

We would welcome and encourage you to visit the Nursery before applying – please make an appointment with the Headteacher.

For the main school children are admitted according to our admission policy in the September of the school year in which they will be 5 years old. All children are admitted fulltime, unless there are particular reasons as to why they should attend part time (e.g. children born in July or August; children with particular needs). This can be discussed with the Headteacher and arrangements made that will best suit the needs of individual children.
