All Saints Benhilton Book Swap

Does your child have a pile of paperback books sitting in their room that they have already

read? Or are they on the shelves collecting dust? Do you wish you had the opportunity to

exchange them for more exciting reading materials?

Well this book swap is for you.

How it works:

We are asking all children to bring in at least one gently used paperback book to their class

teachers for donation. Please bring in books that are appropriate for their age group as they

will be exchanging with other children in their year group.

We would like every child to participate in this exchange but we understand some

households might not have any books to donate, so if your child is willing to spare two

books in order to help out children who don't have a book to donate it would be greatly

appreciated. Children will give the gently used book to their teachers and they are allowed

to bring in up to five books they would like to exchange. Each child will receive a ticket

(working as money) to swap for new books based upon how many books they have brought

in to swap.

Children can bring in books from Monday 19th February to Friday 23rd February and the

exchange will be held on Tuesday 6th March 2018.

Book Criteria:

Please make choices carefully before bringing in books. Books will only be accepted under

the following guidelines:

Books must be paperback and appropriate for their age group

Books must be in gently used condition: cover on, no rips, tears or bent edges

Books with colouring or writing in them will not be accepted

Colouring books, activity books and sticker books will not be accepted

Books from kids' meals will not be accepted (McDonalds, Burger King, Past World

Book day books, etc.)

If you have any questions please email the school- attention, Ms Farley.
