As we are in a National Lockdown at the moment, we are unable to support Red Nose Day in the usual way however we would still like to be involved in a small way.
Red Nose Day is a fundraising event run by the UK charity Comic Relief which is aiming to free the world from poverty. They raise money to transform lives in the UK and around the world. We are taking part because our children will gain understanding and empathy for others in the world plus we have a great opportunity to really make a difference to people’s lives.

School has been very busy since we have all returned to school this week, therefore this year we plan to help this wonderful charity in a simple way. We are asking for all children and adults in our school to wear something red to school on Friday 19th of March. For example, you could wear a red t-shirt, red top or a red jumper with your school bottoms and normal school shoes.
This year to make it easier (and safer), if you would like to support Red Nose Day you can do so by donating directly to Comic Relief via the following link https://www.comicrelief.com/rednoseday and click ‘donate’.
We really hope that the enjoy dressing in red at school to support this fantastic charity and know that Comic Relief will appreciate your support raising money for Red Nose Day.
Thank you for your continued support.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
