Breakfast & After School Club
Breakfast and Tea at ASB!
Breakfast club is open from 7:30 am until 8:45 am during term time only.
Afterschool Club is open from 3:00pm until 6pm during term time only.
Who we are
The Breakfast and Afterschool Club (BASC) at ASB provides a safe, secure and relaxed environment before and after school, offering a range of activities to reflect the interests of the children in our care. Our Club allows the children to choose activities and resources as they wish such as craft, board games, construction, computer games, physical play, cookery and reading. In addition, other resources are available for the children to select from our equipment library and from the wider school environment. Our policy can be accessed here: BASC Policy. Food
The BASC is committed to providing:
- Healthy breakfasts – cereal, baked items, fruit, juice and milk.
- After school healthy snacks, including fresh fruit and vegetables.
In accordance with the school’s Healthy Eating Policy, any allergies should be relayed to the school office and supported with medical evidence, where appropriate. We will endeavour to accommodate all practically reasonable requests or work with the parents to resolve any complex dietary requirements.
STAFFING
We aim to provide a smooth transition between school and club. All of our staff have significant experience of working with your children and undertake professional development training including first aid. All staff members are DBS checked.
If you have a query or concern at any time, you can always speak to a member of staff at the club when you collect/drop off your child or by a dedicated email account.
As ASB runs both clubs, this supports a high level of continuity of care, and maintains good communication links.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
30 available places at both clubs for Reception to Year 6 pupils who attend All Saints Benhilton.
Charges
Breakfast Club £5 per child per session.
After School Club £15 per child per session.
