Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Writing
We underpin our English learning through the Talk for Writing approach. Imaginative units of writing, linked to our Cornerstones projects, enable our children to write independently for a variety of audiences and purposes across different subjects.
Talk for Writing: https://www.talk4writing.com
For handwriting, we follow the Learn to Write! scheme which teaches children letter formation beginning in EYFS. We then begin to teach children explicitely how to join letters. Our letters are split into 4 Letter Families: The Bendy Friends, The Rainbow Pals, The Beanstalk Buddies and The Lightning Lot. Handwriting sessions follow the Revisit, Teach, Practise, Apply model.
