As part of our work around the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are supporting CONVERSION, a charity that collects gently used sports shoes to send to Laos in support of the Lao Rugby Federation youth development program Champa Ban. The provision of these shoes provides the children – many of whom play barefoot on rocky ground – with essential and protective footwear.
If you have any gently used sports shoes that you no longer require, we would be grateful if you could send them to school with £2 (to cover transport) where Mrs Lupoli will collect them. Some of the children have expressed a desire to write a letter to send with their shoes and if this is something they would like to do, please place the letter securely in the shoes before sending them into school.
In recognition of our Chrisitian ethos and values and our close links to Southwark Diocese and the Church of England, we have decided to rename our terms to Michaelmas, Lent and Trinity.
On the Feast of Michael and all Angels, popularly called Michaelmas, we give thanks for the many ways in which God's loving care watches over us.
Lent is the six week period leading up to Easter. It’s one of the most important times of year for many Christians around the world.
On Trinity Sunday, Christians remember and honour the eternal God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Trinity Sunday is celebrated the Sunday after Pentecost.
They come with their own indoor cage and all their food and bedding provided.
If you have a weekend free between now and half term, please contact the school office: email@example.com (0) 20 8644 6492.
Please note their cage is rather large so you may need to put your seats down in your car in order to fit it in!
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
